This website had a messy sitemap that had unorganized information. Our team had 2 weeks quick turnaround time to deliver high fidelity wireframes.
The main goal was to reduce repeated clicks and make the website more approachable to users.
1. Create a “Lifestyle” category that incorporates the information that were scattered to several pages before, such as the introduction of boating, essential destinations, events and community forum.
2. Combine “Parts & Services” page’s 6 sub-pages with 6 similar forms, that include “seasonal service“, “request a part“, “mobile marine service“, “Seattle parts & service“, “Bellingham parts & service center” and “fife – tacoma parts & service center” into 3 pages, that are “request a part”, “seasonal service“, and “mobile marine service“.
3. Instead of using “Contact” category with sub pages such as “locations”, “About Us”, “Our Team”, “Careers”, “News”, “Events”, and “Contact”. We created “About Union Marine” category with sub pages as “Contact Us”, “Why Union Marine” and “Locations”.
4. Instead of having two pages with two same forms for “boat valuation request” and “brokerage & consignment service, we combined the two pages into one page with a same form.
